Get a quote on one like thisKnife No. 3 is an early bushcraft and survival knife from Stigall Bladeworks, built around the idea that an outdoor knife should be capable, dependable, and uncomplicated.
The 5½-inch blade is made from 1084 high-carbon steel and finished with a 25° cutting edge. Its broad profile provides plenty of cutting surface and belly for camp chores, food preparation, processing wood, and the wide range of jobs a general-purpose outdoor knife is expected to handle.
The handle is fitted with G10 scales, giving the knife a durable, weather-resistant grip well suited to a tool intended for use outdoors. The contoured handle and pronounced finger groove provide positive indexing and control, while brass pins add a small traditional detail to an otherwise modern, utilitarian build.
At 10 inches overall, No. 3 is a substantial belt knife without becoming oversized. The package includes a fitted Kydex sheath and ferrocerium rod, keeping the knife and a reliable fire-starting tool together as a self-contained setup for the field.
Completed on July 31, 2026, this was only the third knife to come out of the Stigall Bladeworks shop. Compared with the railroad-spike knives that came before it, No. 3 marked an important step toward the purpose-built field knives that would follow.
