Get a quote on one like thisBuilt for a customer specifically for hunting feral hogs in Florida, this knife was designed from the start as a working field tool. The profile combines a broad skinner-style belly with an integrated gut hook, giving the user a purpose-built blade for opening, skinning, and processing game without carrying a separate gutting tool.
The blade is made from 80CrV2 carbon steel, chosen for its toughness, edge stability, and ability to take a keen working edge. A dark patina gives the blade a subdued, utilitarian finish while complementing the knife's hard-use character.
The handle is burlap Micarta with a G10 liner, providing a durable, stable grip material well suited to wet and dirty field conditions. Its contoured shape and pronounced finger guard were built around maintaining positive control during extended processing work.
At 9 inches overall with a 4¼-inch blade, the knife keeps enough cutting surface and belly for skinning while remaining compact and controllable in the hand. The finished package is paired with a fitted Kydex sheath for secure retention and practical carry in the field.
