Get a quote on one like thisKnife No. 10 is a ring-handle mini seax, combining one of history's oldest utility-blade profiles with reclaimed steel and a distinctly modern approach to carry.
The 4-inch blade was made from a farrier's rasp, with a section of the original rasp teeth intentionally preserved along the upper portion of the blade. Rather than hiding where the steel came from, those marks became part of the finished design—a reminder that this knife began its life as a working tool before being given an entirely new purpose.
The handle is fitted with stabilized koa wood, shaped around the full tang and finished with an integrated steel ring at the pommel. The koa adds warmth and natural figure against the raw character of the rasp, while the ring gives the knife its distinctive profile and provides an additional point of retention.
At 8¾ inches overall, No. 10 remains compact while offering a full 4 inches of cutting edge. The angular seax-inspired blade, exposed rasp texture, figured koa, and ring handle make this one of the more unconventional early designs from the shop.
A fitted Kydex sheath completes the build, providing secure retention and practical carry for a knife that blends old-world inspiration with modern materials and construction.
