Get a quote on one like thisKnife No. 6 is a compact sheepsfoot/bull cutter hybrid, handmade from a repurposed farrier's rasp and built as a small, practical working knife.
Rather than completely erasing the steel's former life, portions of the original rasp teeth were intentionally preserved on the blade. Those marks give the knife a texture and identity that can't be duplicated with new bar stock—a visible reminder of what the steel was before it became a knife.
The 3-inch blade combines the controlled cutting characteristics of a sheepsfoot with the stout, straightforward profile of a traditional bull cutter. At just 7¾ inches overall, it's compact enough for easy carry while still providing a full, comfortable grip.
The handle is made from water buffalo bone, shaped and fitted by hand and secured with brass pins. Its natural color and subtle variations contrast with the exposed rasp texture, bringing together two materials with plenty of character of their own.
